Multifunctional Metasurface Architecture for Amplitude, Polarization and Wave-Front Control

چکیده

Metasurfaces could have transformational impact on emerging applications, from smart antennas and 6G communication to the Internet of Things wireless power transfer, thanks their ultracompact dimensions tailored designs. To fully realize this potential, metasurfaces that can implement different functionalities dynamically switch between them are desired. This study presents a multifunctional microwave metasurface architecture incorporates electronic components within unit cell exert control over metasurface's response. Bridging applied physics device engineering, work is concrete step toward readily deployable versatile technology.
